Travel Requirements

All information provided is based on current travel requirements and restrictions which may change at little/no advance notice.

Visa Documents

Singapore, Malaysia, China and Indonesia nationalities do not require a visa to enter Thailand. For other nationalities, please click this link to check.
Effective from 1 January 2025, all nationals in Singapore who wish to apply for a Thai visa must submit their applications through the new online e-Visa platform at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/. Applicants are no longer required to submit their passports and supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore.
Once the e-Visa application is approved, the applicant must print the e-Visa confirmation email and present it to the airline at the port of departure and to Thai immigration officials upon arrival in Thailand.
Please note that under the new system, there may be delays in the visa approval process. All applicants are advised to submit their applications at least one month before their intended date of departure.

Print all necessary travel documents and ensure that you have the following documents with you.

Passport – ensure that it has a validity of at least six months from your intended date of return to Singapore.

VISA Document
- Please refer to the visa application information to check if you require a visa to enter Thailand.

Singapore Arrival Card
- Complete Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) within 3 days before arrival in Singapore. All travellers including Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are required to complete the SGAC. Upon the completion of your SGAC submission, you will receive an email acknowledgement which you can present for smoother pre-boarding and immigration checks.
